CAP-4 (The first step to the Saraswati College)

It all started with a decision making day for us when we arrived at Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad for our CAP-4 i.e. counseling round.

Every student in the auditorium was looking at each other as their rival, who would take his/her seat to some better college if the student has got some "damn marks" more than other...

Each of us was expecting some better college for ourselves. Each student holding the brochure book in their hand, searching for the college codes, if not got the book then peeping into someone’s other book. The scene was common on each seat in auditorium. The parents were helping their loved ones in sorting the college according to their preferences.

Then came the moment, when we were asked to leave our parent behind and go in a row forward according to marks received in MHT-CET…!!

As of me, I don’t know how I filled up the college I never heard of, maybe it was god’s decision to take me to this college and make me meet my friend’s I have never expected. I filled the colleges mostly vicinity to me or at least in the western line. But on the safer side, and also not going back to B.Sc. in Computer Science, I decided to put some of the colleges in central and harbor line although I had never been there in my life, so not even thought of how I would travel all the way to college…!!

But as I was called on stage, I took my dad along with me as a moral support. We followed the procedure of paying the D.D., CET-Marksheet, and other related documents needed. As we kept moving ahead, I reached my destiny, the two ladies seating on PC, allotting colleges to students. For me they were like decision maker for my further life. As they kept cancelling out the names in the sheet I provided with my preferences, I almost shattered but at last they allotted me to Saraswati College of Engineering, Kharghar. I was not so happy, but at last satisfied at whatever I got in my share, “along with a lesson of not taking the studies too leniently.”

However we left the place with a bizarre. Being hungry for last 2 hours my dad and I decided to have a meal and then leave from Aurangabad. As all these happened alongside I never realized that who all I am going to meet in future. Would tell about my “Friends” in the next post.

Well I am not as good writer as my junior college friend Altaf, but still took a chance to write my blog and share my experience with my friends and the world...and yeah, let me know about this post and leave your comments.
